Some skin and ink

The picture above was taken in June 2001 after embarking on a 7 day bicycle ride. The California AIDSRIDE is an event drawing thousands of people to ride their bicycles for 567 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds to help fight aids. In order to participate, each participants needs to raise a minimum of $2,700. Thanks to everyone who helped me raise 4,700 dollars

My name is Al. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I migrated to the United States and have been living in Glendale, California since 1990. Here are some vital stats just in case you are wondering:

Birthday: January 18, 1968 (Capricorn, year of the monkey)

Vitals: 5'6'' 135 lbs, brown eyes, black hair

Ethnicity: Pacific islander with a bit of a Chinese features.

I work at DirecTV in the IT department doing all sorts of computer geek stuff. I have been on this field for the last 8 years, so I guessed I must like it. I keep my self physically fit by going to the gym (Bally's), working mostly on weight lifting. ( I hate cardio).  I also enjoy going up the mountain with friends to snowboard during winter. And summer usually takes us to the beach to rollerblade and to just soak in the sun. In the last few years I've also been busy traveling all over the world, visit my travel page to see some pictures. When I am not working or at the gym, I usually enjoy  just being at home catching up on my favorite shows on TIVO (Tivo rocks!). Sundays are usually reserved for my family.

All in all, I am a fun loving guy who enjoys good company, good food, traveling, cultures, movies, computers, clubs, cooking, coffee, NPR, The Amazing Race, The apprentice and the one person that makes life so much more fun for me.
